 This Blog Post is the result of a month's worth of Thinking and Shows about the relationship between Women and Mothers of male children. I have said it before... and I stand by it regardless: MOTHERS OF SONS are the enemy of women's (individual and collective) growth and development. Because the investment is always going to be in maintaining what we know. The thing I am learning, though, is that this is how it was intended to be. Because some of us just don't WANT to be mothers. Some of us see it as a TRAP. But the DOMINANT narrative, the privileged voice, is that of the mother. Double it if she has a son. Forever, the daughter is tortured, questioned, expected to conform, to pretend that the truth isn't what it is. Her attempts to unpack the patriarchy will FOREVER BE UPENDED by the mothers of male children. She will be shouted at by females, quoted dickist-theories written by dickist males, and what recourse does she have? In a global system that has blotted out the female voice and presence from every science, every field of study, every single field of operation PERIOD for hundreds of years... WHAT pray tell, does the Daughter Have in her arsenal against a patriarchal faux matriarchy that attempts to en-culture her to uphold the status quo? Moreover, if every single woman who reads the blog, or listens to the show (I'm personalizing this here on purpose) fails to question HER OWN SELF and own her own emotional baggage, how can the conversation ever really come into being a productive one? I am observing, in myself, this very same need being developed. I am a very BLESSED MESS, and I own it! Unlike most women who parrot regurgitated jizzm, I own my Mess! Now, I ceased writing at all after having been raped a few years ago. I couldn't do it, it literally hurt me to write, to communicate. I learned this at age 9. When I was 9 years old, after having been chased by boys for early puberty, I was beaten to the ground in elementary school. The boys attempted to feel me up. Enraged, my parents went to my school to have a meeting with the Principle and the mothers of those 5 boys. Their mothers?
"Well what do you expect? Look at her chest! At least my son ain't gay"
I knew THEN, when I was merely in 4th grade, that MOTHERS of men are not protectors of girls. This also helped me realize that my mother had a greater chance of protecting us, because she had not been given a son to birth! She would be MORE invested in protecting us from men, of informing us of who men are and what they do, because her loyalties weren't Divided. She fought for me, she wrestled those women, verbally and energetically, for my right to experience puberty without some son feeling me up and hurting me. She, and my father, stood by me through that. When I began blaming myself, I remember my father telling me it wasn't my fault and that some women shouldn't have been permitted to birth sons.

This Moment Changed my LIFE
This sparked a thought in my head.... a thought about why some women have sons, some do not. It also prompted me to NEVER want a son. I have experienced, along the way, many women who simply DO NOT DESIRE a son. There are also women, who presently have sons, who never wanted a son. Never wanted ANY CHILDREN AT ALL, but they have sons. I remember the first time I said to another woman "I least of all want male children" and didn't have to deal with her emotional baggage. It was the single most FREEING experience for me, for my inner-daughter. See, when I said to my mama "well i don't wanna have no boys" my mama retorted "well they aren't all like that, you might be different" and at first? I agreed with her. I thought, in my arrogant egoic way, I will be different. I will raise a better son.
Overtime? I came to see that as a SLAP IN THE FACE of every single woman before me who had a son. I have learned, its best to learn FOR YOU vs AT YOU.
Those mothers of sons? Their vitriol was AT ME, not for me, in that moment. Yet, any GOOD alchemist can take what is meant for their Bad and turn it to their Good. This is recognized God Power.

How can black women respect black men?
What land do they own? What have they done for our people in the last 40 years!? How many abandoned homes have black men created? How many times have black men beaten, raped, neglected and abandoned black women? Whenever we have a problem!? We have to call the white supremacist military and police force for help. Why should black men be respected? Why do black women continue to have sons then complain about black men?
If black women really loved ourselves? We would stop birthing for black men. We would make them pay for the babies they leave for dead, before his ass hit the skins. Most women? they are merely ripping off what other women do and say. they are parroting back the shyt we already done heard. Yes, we know that most people judge you based on what you look like outside.
Gabby Sidibe, I am sure, is aware of how deeply black women hate her for daring to be a fabulous fat woman. She continues to shine and love herself. And fat black women are also thankful for her. I mean, even though the "skinny divas" all celebrate Lupita and her "black beauty" she is the type of black beauty we love to celebrate. Her near european physic and stature is something black women can look at and celebrate as their own, because she is wearing the right colored costume. Gabby? She never had a chance to be hailed as the it girl for dark skinned glamour because she doesn't fit the fuckability requirement that black heterosexist women demand. I think, black folks en masse, are addicted to scandal, drama, traumatizing others, and being abusive in our relating to one another. In order to survive the-blackistani -think-tank, you HAVE to have the Backbone of a Sycamore and the Skin of an Alligator. You will have to be prepared for the massive amounts of ignorance, arrogance, judgment, hatred and down right disgusting animalistic assault of those who, quite simply:
