I wrote this, at the Inspiration of the Crone Muse, Dr. Maya Angelou. I am sharing it here, after keeping it locked up for so many many years. This was written back in 2006. At the close of many relationships for me. One in particular, my marriage relationship.

I squeeze my eyes shut

In an effort to suppress the tears

That just will not stop flowin

Questioning myself

Who am I?

What am I doing?

Most importantly how did I get here?

Despite my greatest attempts

To open up my heart

To be smart,

but to be open

To you, as a man,

my man,

my everything

Here we are

And here I stand

Empty hand-dead,

I look down for my rings

Returned to you as a symbol

Of our love and what it takes to

Bear you in love...

To wear you in love

To share you in love

In love... not anymore

And my heart is sore

No it's aching

Bleeding and shaking

Inside of me

It hides from even me

Trusted as its keeper

For

I bore the torch

Yet, past,

it passed

To you,

to be true

to come thru

my Dark Knights

that one sight

doesn't end

just a friend?

So it began

yet here I stand

empty hand-dead,

I look down for my rings

Returned to you as a symbol

Of our love and what it takes

To bear you in love...

To wear you in love

To share you in love

In love... no more.

If you have paid for your session and need to reschedule please do so within 48 hours by email to [email protected] so that we can adjust your appointment. If you fail to reschedule your appointment please understand that The Dark Divine Feminine will not refund your session fee, period.
